About Ambir Technology & MedicScan
In March 2007, Ambir Technology, Inc. acquired the full MedicScan product line, along with ScanShell scanners, SigniShell signature capture pads, the MagShell magnetic reader and the SnapShell ID reading camera solution.
Ambir acquired these product lines through a partnership with Card Scanning Solutions, the intellectual property and trademark owner of the MedicScan and ScanShell product lines. Card Scanning Solutions selected Ambir for this partnership based on our reputation as a leading imaging and e-signature company known for healthcare market knowledge and outstanding commitment to customer service.
